Activision has announced that the next map for Modern Warfare 3, entitled Overwatch, will land on Xbox Live for Premium Call of Duty Elite subscribers on February 21st.
Right off the bat, Overwatch brings to mind thoughts of Highrise from Modern Warfare 2. This is more due to the fact that the two maps are set on top of a skyscraper than similarities in actual map design, however. Overwatch looks to be a truly original map, rather than a rehash of Highrise. Take a look at some screenshots at the top and bottom of this page.
We'll bring you more coverage on February 21st when the map goes live!

oh god, Infected nightmare map if any of those beams are accessed at one point only. Survivors can hold out for all eternity.

They'll just make it so you die instantly if you try to get on them like you do on infected now. Was playing today and wondered why 5+ people died in the first 15 seconds, then saw a line of people jumping to their deaths...

No all DLCs will eventually make it to the public. As of right now they are only released to Elite xbox users. I don't think PS3 Elite members are getting them right away. The reason xbox users get the content before PS3 users is because Microsoft bought rights to get the content before PS3!

yeah, dont have a [i]big [/i]problem with xbox getting content before ps3 if they paid for the rights but, to get the second even before ps3 get the [i]first[/i] is a bit much, we paid a lot of money to these people for the game and it does feel a bit like we bein shafted
