Activision has officially detailed the full month-by-month DLC calendar for Modern Warfare 3. The calendar lets us know roughly when we'll see new content and the type of content that it will be.

All told, we're looking at:

  • 12 new multiplayer maps, including Piazza and Liberation
  • 6 new Spec Ops missions
  • 2 new game modes

All of this content is spread out between January and September, although this month isn't due to see any more DLC aside from the two maps released yesterday.

Check out the DLC Content Calendar at http://www.callofdut...contentcalendar.

Good, no weapons.

Hope the rest of the maps will do justice.

Still no word on when PS3 premium will get there's? If as is often thrown around its a month after then IW will be not living up to its promise of all DLC by September. God damm it i want to play the new maps

As a PS3 player who bought the Hardened Edition, I feel ripped off that we still have to wait for our DLC. IW get's a big FAIL on this!

[/quote] Obviously you've forgotten just how badass the famas is in mw2. Only difference is that there is rapid fire attachment. M16 needs a buff. - This officially the last time I defend the type, remind people of beastly famas and request m16 buff.

It's got nothing to do with IW it's Activision who have a contract with Microsoft that says all dlc must go to Xbox users first. Microsoft pay Activision a lot of money (probably millions of $) for this privelage. This money will no doubt be covered by the millions that Microsoft get from Xbox Live subscribers whereas you PS3 guys always gloat that you get it for free so you can't have everything!

IW has failed miserably at giving us DLC that actually is worth the money spent on it. Weapons and camo's updates should be a part of the package. The AK-74u absolutely should be in the multiplayer. If it's in the game then it should be in the multiplayer. The M16 needs a massive upgrade to it, a gun that is actually worth using. Added weapons allow for people who have either prestiged to 10 already as well as people who are interested in completing weapon challenges a new aspect of the game that would add even more replay value as well as have players continue playing MW3 all the way through it's life cycle.

New camo's are a must. People forget that IW had an entire set of camo's in the code of MW2 but they were never released. They had Platinum, Gold and Leopard camo's in the code of the game yet because of the departure of the top level people and IW basically disintegrating daily they were never released. IW owes loyal fans for years of support.

What I want from now till October 2012:

1. Weapons
a. AK-74u
b. FAMAS (MW2 version)
c. M40a1 (COD4 version)
d. Tar-21 (MW2 version)
e. MP5k (MW2 version)

2. Camos
a. Platinum
b. Leopard (Blue and Red)

3. Maps
a. Crash (COD4)
b. Crossfire (COD4)
c. Strike (COD4)
d. Vacant (COD4)
e. Broadcast (COD4)
f. Ambush (COD4)
g. Terminal (MW2)
h. Scrapyard (MW2)
i. Afghan (MW2)
j. Invasion (MW2)

Must Have Map: Shipment (COD4)
- Obviously it won't be in the rotation for 6v6 or 9v9 games, but it can be in the rotation for Bare Bones and it's the ultimate 1v1 map. People forget how important and how valuable Shipement was in the 1v1 scene. Players made names for themselves playing 1v1's. Whether it be competing with the MP5 or the M40a1. Players used to take their 1v1 records incredibly serious. Bring that aspect of the game back, bring back Shipment!

See this from their point of view, not just from your nose-tip. I would be pissed, and so would you.

I'll agree that camo's would be good, if only just for something fresh for the eyes. But weapons are a no-no. It wouldn't be fair to offer weapons (that could be better than weapons already in the game) for money. The only way it would be fair is if they were simply new gun skins wrapped around the guns we already have, but then there wouldn't be any point to it.

Also, i think you are jumping the gun ever so slightly to say that IW has "failed miserably". We've only had 2 maps so far (both of which are actually pretty good), with more coming as well as new missions and game modes. I'm happy with that.

I would be. But that is just another reason why I play on the console I do.

Thing is if they reskinned ANY gun. And a elite prem member used it. All hell would break lose because it would be overpowered, has damage glitches, makes you invincible, and run 1,000 times longer. When really it's just a new skin. And a good player used the gun.
This is the reason I want weaps.

I am disgusted with Activisions lack of loyalty support. If I charged the same price to 2 different people for a product and then told one of them they would have to wait an extra month for their item for no reason I would lose my business.

I can't believe that PS3 owners are being discriminated against. Have we not shown loyalty and greater pre-order sales, and what thanks do we get?

Then buy the cheaper version and don't be dumb about it.
Also I don't have any facts nor do I feel like searching...
But I think 360> ps3 when it comes to presales.
Also Microsoft has a deal with Activision to get content 1 month early.
Get over yourself.

Get over yourself.

They never told PS3 owners about this. They simply said: "Get Elite Premium, and receive DLC content early" This is even stated on CoD: Elite at this very moment.

They have every right to complain about this and "not getting over themselves"

In this case, Activision is rotten down to the core and nobody, not even the 360 owners have anything to say in defense. I can't believe I'm still buying games from this filthy, diarrhea stained multinational corporation.

Problem is they do receive it early.
It is simply relative. They get it early compared to Non premium ps3 member.
In all technicality they did nothing wrong.
On top of that you guys should know better...Seriously...
Back to earlier stated...GET OVER IT. K?
